Whisker Mixer 2010

The Humane Society of South Central Michigan’s signature annual fundraiser, held at beautiful Southern Exposure Herb Farm, will take place September 23, 2010. The evening features a social gathering, silent auction and a live auction. Tickets are $50 each, and include hor d’oeuvres and a cocktail; there is a cash bar available as well. The silent auction this year will cover 50 gift baskets and other items. Live auction items, including items like weekend stays at condos, signature dining events and travel, add to the excitment of the evening. This year's event will also feature a wine pull; pulls are priced at $20, with several chances to receive bottles of wine valued between $100 - $250! The agency hopes to raise $25,000 for this event between ticket sales, sponsorships, the silent auction and the live auction.

The event is attended by over 100 individuals. Items auctioned will be featured on the agency’s website, in the agency’s newsletter and highlighted at the event itself. If an item is donated for the live auction with an inkind value noted, the agency will be able to provide a letter for tax purposes in the amount of the stated inkind value.
